Overview & Reviews
The IS 300 continues into 2005 largely unchanged. A limited-slip differential is no longer available with the manual transmission.
- Outstanding driving dynamics, slick interior decor, competitive pricing.
- Small rear seat and trunk, not much storage space, aging design struggles to keep up with its more modern competition.

BabyLexus - 2005 Lexus IS 300
By Tony Santini - October 29 - 8:56 amI bought the IS300 5 speed back in June 2005. The experience so far is excellent. No complaints aside from the poor reception from the radio; specially when you turn the rear window defroster. The suspension makes this car to stick to the ground at higher speeds. Everyone has complimented me on the great looks of the car.

solid investment - 2005 Lexus IS 300
By boogerman - January 30 - 8:26 amThe best thing is the low maintenance - this is a modest luxury wagon, but is a great alternative to the bmw saab audi or vw wagons. It is quiet, smooth and incredibly responsive. The tight steering and ample 215 horsepower make for an exciting drive.

Its a Lexus afterall! - 2005 Lexus IS 300
By Michael - October 31 - 6:53 amA very athletic 4-door sedan with many luxury standard features which are expensive options in her class. Both the ride and feel are so good that I can drive it all day & still have fun. Trouble free still and well built with no rattles after over 14000 miles with only the 2 scheduled oil change service calls.
